UM’s first midwifery cohort graduate alongside latest nurses : Featured

June 6, 2024 —  The first group of UM midwifery graduates entered the profession at the College of Nursing’s spring pinning ceremony on June 4. Three students completed the program and received their professional pins, alongside 91 new nurses.

June 5, 2024 —  Last week, more than three years since that winter break, Connor Egan addressed a crowd of over 1,600 at the 2024 International Distinguished Entrepreneur Award (IDEA) Gala, the premier event of The Associates of the Asper School of Business, to announce that the Price Student-Managed Investment Fund (PSMIF) has raised over $3.5 million. Just one week later at Spring Convocation, Connor Egan will walk with his fellow Asper graduates in celebration of all they have accomplished during their unique BComm journeys.

June 5, 2024 —  A new study led by UM researchers has found that initial physiotherapy assessments conducted per month in Winnipeg have dropped by 85 per cent since services were consolidated seven years ago raising alarm bells that some populations who require physio services -but cannot afford a private clinic- are failing to receive vital assessments and treatment.
