At the Daily Bread Cafe, it’s the Ukrainian classic with the perogy platter.
Every Friday, students and staff line up outside the Cafe doors to take advantage of this daily special, one that has been around for nearly ten years. A mouth watering lunch that not only brings people together, but is a staple in the St John’s community every week.
Aside from the perogy special, other daily specials include lasagna, Italian sausage, mac and cheese, and different daily soups at Soup4U outside Robert Schultz Lecture Theatre in St John’s College. These specials change weekly to keep a good variety for the St John’s and UM communities.
