Call for Papers: A Taste for Feeling – February 25-26, 2016 – The University of Manitoba
This two day symposium will explore the intersection of affect and food in a cross-disciplinary dialogue. We are interested in proposals from all disciplines and presentations that include perspectives and evidence from art, literature, film, history, social sciences, medicine, agriculture, or any field that provides insight into the emotional dimensions of food, food production, food presentation, or food consumption. The Affect Project is a collaboration of researchers interested in the role of affect in culture and lived experience. Please submit abstracts (200 words or less) and brief biographies (100 words) to affectproject@umanitoba.ca
