Graduate Studies Open House
The Rady Faculty of Health Sciences’ inaugural open house will be held on Friday, June 15. The event is being targeted to students interested in pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. program in one of the Faculty’s health sciences programs. The day will include faculty talks, financial aid presentations, information on the Faculty’s degree programs, guided tours, and the opportunity to network with students and presenters.
After lunch, students will be able to explore the information village located in the Apotex building. Presenters will be available at their departmental booths to answer questions about academic programming, admissions, student support, and the U of M graduate student experience. Students are encouraged to bring a list of questions about their programs of choice.
“This is a great opportunity for undergraduate students to explore their options, and the facilities, at the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences,” says Dr. Hope Anderson, Vice-Dean of Graduate Studies. “Students can mingle with professors and ask questions on an informal basis.”
Lunch and afternoon refreshments will be provided. Pre-registration is requested by Thursday, June 7.
The Open House is taking place Friday, June 15, at the Bannatyne Campus, Brodie Centre (727 McDermot Avenue) from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
To register, please sign up online through the Event Brite Page.
