Raising awareness for organizations offering services to vulnerable, nominate today

The Field Education Program is currently accepting nominations for their annual agency awareness/donation-raiser campaign. The campaign raises awareness and collects donations for one local, non-profit field placement agency each year.

This initiative recognizes field placement agencies providing a wide array of services to Winnipeg’s most vulnerable and impoverished of citizens.

Past agencies that have participated in the campaign include the Main Street Project, West Central Women’s Resource Centre, The Clothes Closet, North Point Douglas Women’s Centre, Wahbung Abinoonjiiag, Sage House, Siloam Mission, Spence Neighbourhood Association and Wolseley Family Place.

Nominations are considered by the Faculty of Social Work Field Advisory Committee and must be received by April 1, 2017. Nominators must fill out a nomination form.
