APTN News: ‘National interest’ projects and the impact on First Nations in Manitoba

There’s been a lot of talk in recent months about projects deemed to be in the national interest. Prime Minister Mark Carney hasn’t named any specific projects or groups, but announcements are expected soon.
In northern Manitoba, several projects are already underway with support from Indigenous communities.
APTN’s Dennis Ward spoke with Mario Pinto, vice-president of research at the University of Manitoba.
