Intramural sports ‘team of the week’ photo contest

Share photos of your team and you could win

Recreation Services intramural sports “Team of the Week” Instagram photo contest runs from 12 pm Monday, Jan. 29 to midnight on Thursday, March 8 on www.instagram.com/uofmrecservices.

The rules are simple:

  • Take a photo of your intramural team in action or on the sidelines. Consider the theme of “this is why we play” when taking your photo.
  • Add #umintramurals and @uofmrecservices to the post
  • Tag @uofmrecservices and @bp.pembina in the picture

*Private Instagram accounts must be public during the contest in order to qualify for entry.

All entries between Jan. 29 and March 8 will be considered and one favourite will be chosen each week for a total of six winning photos over the course of six weeks. You may enter as many times as you like and you may win more than once. Each winning photo account will win team pizza from Boston Pizza on Pembina Highway.

The weekly winning entry will be chosen by Recreation Services and will be selected based on creativity, quality and adherence to the theme. The winner will be notified by Instagram direct message and then announced publicly on the account.

Prizes must be picked up from Recreation Services during regular business hours.

Contest is open to all 2018 winter term intramural participants including teams from the Fort Garry and Bannatyne campus locations and prizes must be picked up at the U of M Fort Garry Campus. By tagging #umintramurals, you are agreeing to allow the U of M to share your photo(s) on our social media accounts.

Your photo(s) will not be used for commercial purposes. This contest is in no way sponsored, administered, or associated with Instagram, Inc.

By entering, entrants confirm they are 13+ years of age, release Instagram of responsibility, and agree to Instagram’s term of use.
