All new and returning First Nations, Métis and Inuit students in the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences were invited to a Welcome Feast on Sept. 19.
The Indigenous Student Centre, Indigenous Achievement, the Centre for Aboriginal Health Education, U of M Student Affairs and the Institute of Indigenous Health were all involved with the third annual event.
The event in John Buhler Atrium on the Bannatyne campus featured a delicious traditional meal and drew students, university faculty, staff, administration and Indigenous mentors in the community.
