Exciting Front and Centre celebration part of this year’s Homecoming football game
Show your U of M pride and be a part of an exciting celebration at the annual homecoming football game taking place this Saturday, September 24 at Investors Group Field.
The Bisons look to build on the success of their win last weekend as they take on the University of Saskatchewan Huskies. On September 16 the Bisons earned their first win of the season with a dominant 42-12 win over the Alberta Golden Bears. In that game Bisons quarterback Theo Deezar completed 21-of-27 passes for 345 yards, four touchdown passes, and added one rushing score.
Keep your eyes open for the Theo Deezar Instagram takeover as the star quarterback shares his perspective on the @umstudent Instagram channel. The takeover will happen on Friday, September 23.
On Saturday the football fun begins with special activities led by Mini U and Recreation Services on the concourse before the game. Students will want to pay close attention to the BMO tuition draw where they could win $1,000 towards their tuition. In addition, the first 200 fans through the gate will receive a special gift.
Half time will feature an exciting celebration of the recent UMSU contribution to the Front and Centre campaign.
