Winnipeg, MB — The Faculty of Architecture (FAUM) is proud to celebrate the recipients of the 2024–2025 G. Clarence Elliott Fellowship, Sabba Rezai, (Department of Architecture), Dawson Reynolds (Department of City Planning), as well as Sanzida Tabassum (Faculty of Agriculture). This prestigious fellowship recognizes outstanding graduate students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and leadership within their fields.

The fellowship was established in 1994 through an endowment fund created by friends and colleagues of Mr. G. Clarence Elliott, former Vice-President and Treasurer of The Great-West Life Assurance Company. Elliott is remembered not only for his distinguished corporate career, but also for his significant contributions as a real estate pioneer in Canada. His legacy of leadership, generosity, and commitment to community continues to inspire through this enduring award.

“We are pleased to recognize Sabba, Dawson and Sanzida for their achievements and to celebrate the continued legacy of Mr. Elliott,” said Steve Demmings. “This fellowship reflects the lasting impact one individual can have on future generations.”

The University of Manitoba extends its congratulations to the 2024–2025 fellowship recipients and expresses its gratitude to all who have contributed to sustaining this important award.
