In his presentation, “From EdTech to TechEd,” Dr. Gonick will examine how recent breakthroughs in artificial intelligence are reshaping the digital foundations of colleges and universities. His talk will explore how AI is transforming not only teaching and learning, but also the way higher education institutions are designed, supported, and sustained.

Dr. Gonick leads the design and agile management of enterprise infrastructure, applications, digital learning platforms, and data systems at Arizona State University. He has been recognized as Arizona’s top Large Enterprise CIO by the ORBIE Awards and named one of EdScoop’s Top 50 Education Technology Influencers. A national leader in higher education technology, Dr. Gonick brings deep insight into the evolving relationship between innovation, infrastructure, and academic mission.
