The annual Faculty, Staff and Retirees campaign kicked off this week and runs for the entire month. Every year members of the university community support our students by making a gift to student awards, active living, experiential education or libraries.

As a staff member at the U of M I have given to projects that have special meaning for me personally. One such project is Tache Hall. I have made a donation via payroll deduction in memory of an aunt who had no other family. She was a vocal soloist and loved being part of a large choir. This donation to Tache in her memory will ensure she is gone but not forgotten and her song will live on for generations of musicians learning their craft.
