Two new copyright webinars just in time for summer term 2020

Some good news: copyright law is flexible and supports teaching in all delivery formats — even online — but some different considerations may apply when teaching your course online.

Instructors are invited to join an hour long webinar by the Copyright Office to learn the basics of copyright in online course delivery, get your questions answered, and learn how to get support for your copyright questions.

Free-to-use materials for online course delivery

As you are choosing materials for online course delivery consider a variety of free to use materials available, including: Public Domain, Open Educational Resources, and Creative Commons. These materials are either copyright free or provide users with broad permission for use (or even modification) and are highly flexible and adaptable to online course delivery.

Instructors are invited to learn more about free to use resources, where you can locate them, and how to use them in this hour-long webinar from the Copyright Office.
