Today’s Parent: Teaching kids sarcasm

Melanie Glenwright, an associate professor of psychology, studies kids and sarcasm and she spoke to the magazine Today’s Parent about it, noting that while outlawing its use may seem instinctive, it isn’t the best tactic. “It’s not necessarily a bad skill to have, and parents who try to prevent children from using sarcasm may be doing them a disservice.”
