April 12, 2024 — 
Asper BComm student Gilbert Eretchabor is currently working hard to revitalize the University of Manitoba Supply Chain Organization (UMSCO) as president and is a passionate advocate for the field. Supply chain isn’t something that Eretchabor pursued from the start of his degree, but some cogent advice from the Dean helped him see his future (and his past) in supply chain.

April 1, 2024 — 
Asper students Joshua Peterson, Tyler Roslinsky, Taylor Bially and Sanjana Sabu won first prize at the Alberta Not-for-Profit’s External Case Competition this February, bringing home a $1,500 cash prize, which they donated back to the not-for-profit organization that helped them prepare for the competition.

March 8, 2024 — 
Fidelia De Souza has always known that a CPA designation is her dream destination, and she’s started on a number of paths to getting there, always applying a more exploratory than prescriptive approach, but guided by a true passion for the practice of accounting.

March 6, 2024 — 
Ashley Richard [BComm(Hons)/17], who is now Lead of Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub (WEKH), Indigenous, can recall many connections that began at Asper through IBEP, made with people that she still actively works or keeps in touch with.

February 22, 2024 — 
A BComm student, Darbara Kaushal’s Asper story so far is defined by connection. He has been involved in Asper case competitions and the University of Manitoba Actuarial Club (UMAC) since he started his BComm in 2022, right as UM students were returning to in-person learning full-time for the first time since 2020.

February 16, 2024 — 
Matthew Carriere is a BComm student at the Asper School of Business and member of Indigenous Business Education Partners (IBEP) who knows what it means to find himself through community.

February 14, 2024 — 
When Asper BComm student Zahara Husain chose her majors, she thought as much about her career goals as she did her personal ones. With aspirations to pursue the Chartered Professional Human Resources (CPHR) designation after graduation, she is now completing a double major in human resource management and marketing.

February 6, 2024 — 
Asper School of Business BComm student Avery Groeneveld brought home gold for the school during fall case season at the Business and Management Case Competition hosted by Universidad Panamericana in Guadalajara, Mexico.

January 16, 2024 — 
Asper MBA alum Pablo Reich [MBA/02] is the executive vice president of Arconas, a Canadian manufacturer and distributor of high-performance furniture for airports and passenger terminals in North America. Reich has built on the company’s legacy of sustainability, all while growing a successful business in a unique market.

January 10, 2024 — 
Kathleen BlueSky [MBA/15] has always been driven by a desire to uplift Indigenous people and create more sustainable, just systems in her community.
