Annual Commuter Challenge and Bike to Work Day coming soon
Kick-start your summer by participating in two popular events, Commuter Challenge and Bike to Work Day. These long-standing traditions celebrate active and sustainable methods of travel and encourage UM students, staff and faculty to try new ways to get to campus.
Commuter Challenge
Reduce your emissions by joining fellow UM staff, faculty and students in travelling to campus by carpool, bike, transit, on foot, or by working from home (where approved). Now in its 25th year, you can register for the Commuter Challenge on Green Action Centre’s new GoMB’s site, where participants can create a free user account with their UM email, track their kilometres of sustainable transportation and be entered to win great local prizes.
