Distinguished Alumni Awards a highlight of Homecoming 2022
We are well on our way to celebrating this year’s recipients of the 2022 Distinguished Alumni Awards on September 22. The event is set to be an inspiring and memorable evening and an opportunity to connect with UM alumni and the community. After nearly three years, the excitement is palpable to return to an in-person format. Highlights of the evening include dinner, honoring five exceptional UM alumni in a captivating presentation of awards and to top it all off, musical performances by Ron Paley Big Band.
With five categories of awards, the recipients’ range in backgrounds and come from Manitoba to across Canada, the lineup for the night is sure to spark interest and inspiration to all those that hear their stories. Whether they pushed the envelope in leadership or bring awareness to issues that affect many in Canada and world-wide, these outstanding individuals have all had a major impact to anyone who they’ve crossed paths with. We are excited to celebrate these five remarkable alumni with the UM community.
Being able to honour the recipients at the Distinguished Alumni Awards Celebration of Excellence Gala, the first celebration to be in-person in three years, will be a night worth attending.
