Hallie Eggie, assistant running backs coach with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, speaks with host Marjorie Dowhos about working in the CFL as part of the league’s Women in Football program.
Coach Eggie is also the first female football coach with the University of Manitoba Bisons football team. She joined the team in the 2024 season.
She talks about her path into coaching, what it’s like to be a woman in a male-dominated sport, and how more women are getting involved in football at the professional level.
