Wayne Fleming Legacy Athletic Scholarship presented to Luke Paulson

On January 9, Bison men’s hockey defenceman Luke Paulson was presented the Wayne Fleming Legacy Athletic Scholarship by the late coach’s wife, Carolyn Fleming. The scholarship was established in 2013 in honour of Fleming, a former player and highly-respected head coach of the Bison men’s hockey team. Earlier in the season, Paulson – a second-year Faculty of Arts student – also received a Mike Ridley Award. He is one of 20 Bison hockey players to receive the financial award, which recognizes athletic ability, academic standing and leadership skills.
