#UMStaffWeek includes Free Fitness & Great Prizes

June 19, 2015 —

As part of the inaugural U of M Mental Health Week June 22-26, Recreation Services is opening its doors to all campus faculty and staff for the entire week for FREE!

Staff Appreciation Week lets you try out instructional programs like West Coast Swing or Karate, take a lunch time group fitness class, go for a swim, try the climbing wall, play tennis or use the amazing track or equipment in the brand new 100,000 square foot Active Living Centre.

To register for Staff Appreciation Week at Rec Services, visit the customer service desk, with your staff ID, at the Active Living, Max Bell or Joe Doupe Centres.

There will be prize giveaways on social media throughout the week for 30-minute massages, Bison Sports season passes, Mini-U summer camps, personal training and more. The grand prize is a Rec Services 12-month staff membership for two, valued at over $700.

When you try out the facilities, you’ll receive a #UMStaffWeek wristband. Use the hashtag and post your wristband access number on the Recreation Services Facebook or Twitter page by June 28th to be entered to win. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to get fit, have fun all and maybe even win!

See the full schedule of events for U of M Staff Appreciation Week & Staff Mental Health Week at both the Fort Garry and Bannatyne Campus locations.
