The Welcome Mentors program pairs new international students with experienced U of M students (international and domestic). Mentors complete training to support mentees during their transition to the University of Manitoba. Mentors provide intercultural, personal, and academic support to their mentees via one-on-one interactions and conversations.
Get in the game! The University of Manitoba offers 2 competitive, recreational leagues in Hockey in the fall & winter and Co-ed Outdoor Soccer in the summer. UM Leagues are open to anyone and strives to offer a great sports experience for the recreational athlete. We accept registrations on a team basis, however if you are looking to join a team, we provide the opportunity for individuals to be connected with registered teams.
