Register today for the 23rd Annual Fields on Wheels Conference

Managing Cross-border Trade and Preparing for World Markets

October 11, 2018 — 

The 23rd Fields on Wheels conference takes place on Friday, November 2 at the Four Points South Hotel in Winnipeg and brings together representatives from all segments of the grain industry from farmers and grain buyers, to railways and ports, to discuss the latest developments affecting the future of the industry.

The conference will examine Canadian rail shipments to the USMCA countries and the magnitude of agriculture’s market, what is at stake and what Canada can do to prepare a more efficient transportation system. The program opens with welcoming remarks from The Honourable Ron Schuler, Minister of Infrastructure, Province of Manitoba. Dr. Bill Kerr, Professor, University of Saskatchewan will deliver the keynote address on trade policy: “Is Trump’s Trade Policy Simply Chaotic – Or is Something Else Going On?”.

Conference attendees will join in the discussion of innovations and investments in serving world markets, and enjoy networking opportunities with other industry professionals. The early-bird registration fee is $295, with breakfast, lunch, snacks and parking included within the registration fee.
