Basketball playoffs begin at home

Bison men look to bounce Fraser Valley from playoffs

March 2, 2016 — 

The University of Manitoba Bison men’s basketball team hosts the Fraser Valley Cascades in the Canada West quarter-finals this weekend.

Games will be at Investors Group Athletic Centre on Thursday and Friday, March 3 and 4 at 7pm. If necessary, game three will be played on Saturday, March 5 at 3pm.

The Bison men are coming off an incredible 15-and-5 regular-season record, the most wins in a regular season for the herd since 1978.

VOLLEYBALL:

The University of Manitoba Bison men’s volleyball team takes on top-ranked University of Alberta in the badlands this weekend.

The Bisons play in a semi-final match on Friday, March 4.

HOCKEY:

The University of Manitoba Bison women’s hockey team faces UBC this weekend in a best-of-three series in the Canada-West finals.
