Are you right handed? We need you for a research study

July 5, 2018 —

Ten right-hand dominant volunteers, aged 18-45, are needed for a study that’s looking to analyze neuromuscular control of voluntary and involuntary muscle activity.

What’s involved: two visits for a total of 6.5 hours. You will wear a cold water-perfused suit and be asked to perform arm flexions and extensions during a series of muscle simulations.

Interested? Contact Daryl Hurie at EnviroMedLab [at] umanitoba [dot] ca for more information and to get started.

This study has been approved by the Educations Nursing Research Ethics Board. If anyone has concerns, they can contact the Human Ethics Coordinator humanethics [at] umanitoba [dot] ca
